It rained all night. 

We like to listen to the rain and pay attention to detect the large drops that fall on the roof. That’s how we fell asleep, waiting for the large one to hit. 

In the morning the rain stopped and a gorgeous sun appeared from behind the clouds. We repositioned for the road and we left behind the Indians’ land and the beach that was our yard for three days. 

Today we drove for 268 km, we exited the State of Espirito Santo and entered the State of Bahia. 

On the road we saw fields of coffee bushes in bloom. The flowers surround the branch forming a tube. We stopped the car to smell the magic of the moment. The flowers are identical to the jasmine flowers, judging by the aspect and the smell. 

I cannot describe in words how it smelled in that valley full of coffee trees. We took a branch found on the ground and filled the car with a fairytale perfume. We stopped last evening at a crossroad at an inn. 

The manager of the food truck was a small funny guy covered in tattoos. He made for each of us a sandwich with a fried egg and quenched our thirst with graviola juice. 

As a bonus, he gave us the recipe for the delicious sauce he put in the sandwich. 

Pay attention, the quantities are relative, but the eye of an open-hearted master is never wrong. 

You blend in the high-speed blender: milk cream with garlic, lemon juice, oregano and a dash of virgin olive oil. 

Who won’t like this… it’s a matter of taste anyway.

A plouat toata noaptea. Noua ne place sa ascultam ploaia si sa stam atenti sa distingem picaturile mai mari ce lovesc plafonul masinii. Asa am adormit, asteptand picaturoiul sa loveasca din nou!

Dimineata ploaia a incetat si un soare superb si-a facut aparitia de dupa nori. Ne-am repozitionat pentru drum si am lasat in urma terenul indienilor si plaja ce ne-a fost curte pentru trei zile. 

Astazi am parcurs 268 de kilometri, am parasit statul Sfantului Duh si am intrat in statul Bahia. Pe drum am intalnit plantatii cu arbusti de cafea infloriti. Florile napadesc toata creanga formand un tub. Am oprit masina sa mirosim magia momentului. Florile sunt aproape identice cu cele de iasomie, si ca parfum si ca aspect. 

Nu va pot povesti in cuvinte cum mirosea in valea aceea plina de arbusti de cafea. Am cules de pe jos o crenguta rupta de vant si am umplut masina cu miros de basm.

Am oprit pe seara la o rascruce de drumuri, la un han. Patronul fast-food-ului container era un tip mic, haios si plin de tatuaje. Ne-a facut cate un sandwich cu ou pe plita si ne- a adapat cu suc natural de graviola. Bonus, ne-a dat reteta sosului minune ce l-a pus in sandwich-ul delicios.

Fiti atenti, cantitatile se pun la ochi dar ochiul bun de om mare cu sufletul deschis nu rateaza niciodata!

Se ametesca in blender, cu putere maxima, crema de lapte cu usturoi, zeama de lamaie, oregano si un strop de ulei de masline tip fata mare, adica virgin.

Cui nu i-o placea inseamna ca… nu-i place, gusturile nu se discuta da?! V-am lasat cu reteta asa si am incalecat pe-o sa,
